Ramadan Food Baskets
The month of Ramadan is a time of fasting, but more so, it is a time in which Muslims are compelled to give. Life’s Ramadan Food Basket Program is greatly supported by Muslims in North America and around the world who generously donate to distribute food baskets to poor families to help them break their daily fasts. The food basket provides enough for a family of seven to last the entire month of Ramadan. Every year, Life distributes Ramadan Food Baskets in Afghanistan, Ghana, Haiti, Iraq, Jordan, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Syria, West Bank & Gaza, Yemen, and other countries and Life also hosts Iftar meals in the USA.
Eid Gifts While many children around the world celebrate with presents commemorating the end of Ramadan, many others do not have that luxury.
In the spirit of giving, Life, with the help of its generous donors, holds several Eid Al-Fitr festivities to make this holiday celebration as fun filled as possible by providing new clothing and gifts to the orphans and the needy in Afghanistan, Ghana, Haiti, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Syria and the West Bank & Gaza.

Zakat Al-Maal is the third pillar of Islam. Any man or woman who meets the minimum requirements of wealth must pay their share of Zakat. However, paying Zakat is not a burden—it is a blessing and a testimony to one’s sincere faith and devotion to Allah.DONATE TO THIS CAUSE
Zakat Al-Fitr (purity from fasting sins) is a mandatory charity that must be paid for every member of your household as part of the Ramadan fasting tradition, and it must be given before the Eid prayer.DONATE TO THIS CAUSE
