Life Sends Advanced Medical Equipment to Pakistan

Advanced medical care is taken for granted in developed countries.  Patients are often given more tests than are needed, just to make sure that all of their medical troubles are detected.

But in the developing world, where poverty is rampant, quality healthcare is available only to the few who can afford it.

Making healthcare accessible to the poor has always been a high priority for Life for Relief and Development.  From Haiti to Somalia, and Palestine to Iraq, Life has delivered tens of millions of dollars in medical aid to hospitals, clinics, and refugee camps.

One of Life’s latest health projects involved the delivery of a specialized medical device known as a Cardiac Nuclear Camera to a hospital in Pakistan.  The hospital specializes in providing free and low-cost healthcare to needy patients.

This state of the art imaging device is used to detect and treat heart disease, various forms of cancer, and other complicated illnesses.

Early detection of diseases can save lives as well as costly surgeries and rehabilitation.  With Allah’s help, this device will allow the Pakistani doctors heal more people and save more lives.
