During the summer of 2011, Life distributed books valued at $2,135,379 to non-profit schools throughout the US. The following schools received books:

  1. Marty Indian School – Marty, South Dakota

  3. IFTIN Community Services – Arlington, Texas
  4. St. John’s Bosco Catholic School – San Antonio, Texas
  5. Michigan Islamic Academy – Ann Arbor, Michigan
  6. Al-Ihsan Academy – Detroit, Michigan
  7. Al-Taqwa School – Toledo, Ohio
  8. Charlotte Islamic School – Charlotte, North Carolina
  9. Dar Al Hijjrah School – Minneapolis, Minnesota
  10. Dar Uloom Islamic School – Peoria, Illinois
  11. Phoenix Metro Islamic School – Phoenix, Arizona

We received the following email from Sister Rosann Ruiz the principal of St. John’s Bosco Catholic School in San Antonio, Texas:

“We’re unpacking the cases of books that we received. We have a lot of materials that will supplement our Science curriculum, lab materials and digital resources too. Thanks for the huge donation and all that you did to get the pallets of books over here. God bless you!”

Many schools called to thank Life for the generous donation of books that were sent to their schools. Life plans to continue to promote education in the US and in other countries through its book donation program.
