Award Presented to Life CEO by the Syrian Arab Medical Society for Life’s Humanitarian Efforts in Syria

On Saturday February 18th, 2012 at the Syrian Arab Medical Society (SAMS) conference dinner in Orlando, Florida, Dr. Mujahid Al-Fayadh, Life President & CEO received an award for Life’s emergency humanitarian relief efforts in Syria. During the event funds were raised for emergency relief efforts in Syria.

The Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) is a non-profit, non-political organization. Its members are comprised of medical professionals of Syrian descent. SAMS objectives encompass an array of professional, educational, humanitarian, and cultural activities. SAMS also organizes donations of medicine and medical supplies to underprivileged families in Syria and SAMS recently sent two 40-foot shipping containers of medical supplies and equipment to the Al-Bir Hospital in Homs in partnership with Life. Life praises the work of SAMS and looks forward to continued cooperation with them in the future.
