Life distributes aid to orphans and digs two water wells in Afghanistan

Life for Relief and Development’s office in Kabul Afghanistan distributed food aid to orphans that are enrolled in Life’s orphan sponsorship program.

Two water wells with hand pumps installed were also dug in the village of de Yahya Kabul. The water wells will benefit poor and needy families who have suffered from a lack of fresh clean drinking water. The families benefiting from these two wells offered thanks and appreciation to the donors who have contributed to alleviating the suffering of the needy.

Life would like to thank the donors and their families for providing funding to dig water wells and sponsor orphans in Afghanistan. The cost to sponsor an orphan was raised to $55 per month or $660 a year due to higher costs of living throughout the world. Donors can make monthly payments or pay for one year in advance for orphan sponsorship or to dig a water well.
