Life installs a new water filtration unit in an Iraqi school

In Iraq children are suffering from impure water, water in many schools is not drinkable and does not match the specifics of safe water. Many students in schools that have money buy and drink bottled water but the majority of students in schools are forced to drink directly from the water taps and as a result suffer with water borne diseases and diarrhea.
Life recently installed a large water filtration unit in the Yaqout Hamawi School, in Diyala. The unit is type Ro+uv300G (stag 9) with a capacity of 150 liters per hour. This filtration system was definitely needed for the school because the number of elementary students in each class is 40 students and there are 500 relay students who attend after school courses to strengthen their education. This school has almost 900 students who will be provided filtered water which will benefit their health.
The students and faculty members of the school gave their sincere regards to Life for Relief for Development for installing this device.
