Life distributes over $6.0 million dollars in emergency food aid to the Syrian people

Since the crisis began in Syria, Life has been working to provide emergency relief for the Syrian people. So far, Life has distributed over $6.0 million in emergency food aid to families in Syria. Photos displayed with this report are samples of the food items that Life is distributing to Syrian families in places like Idlib, Aleppo, Der Azzour, Homs, Hama, Dera’a and Damascus. 

Due to security concerns, not many pictures can be obtained or dispatched from inside Syria but thousands of pictures of Life activities in Lebanon and Jordan can be seen on www.lifeusa.org. 

Our staff, volunteers and partners on the ground inside Syria are working night and day to distribute food aid to the people most in need throughout this crisis. It is important to mention that Life is continually helping Syrian refugees in both Lebanon and Jordan by providing food items, kitchen utensils, mattresses and bedding, and providing medical treatments.
