Life for Relief and Development nears completion of construction on a primary school in Bobiya Village, Dallo Manna Woredas situated in Oromia Region of Bale Zone in Ethiopia. The Woredas are far to the southeast about 510 km from Dallo Manna from Addis Ababa. This region is difficult to access year round.

The Beneficiaries of this School construction project are pastoralist children and youth who used to travel far from their parents to various towns to complete their education. The school is expected to accommodate and enroll more than 750 students from Oromo and Somali tribes.

The school is nearly structurally complete and looking beautiful. Some exterior work and fixtures/furnishings are all that is left to wrap up this large and important project.

We would like to thanks our donors for their contributions to this much-needed project to improve the education of children living in rural Ethiopia. This project will surely help to uplift the Horn of Africa out of the cycle of poverty.
