| On the occasion of every Eid Ul Adha, Life distributes donated Udhiyah meat through its global network of offices and partners covering the countries listed below. Prices for sheep range from $70 to $420, for goats from $70 to $240, and shares of a cow (1/7th of a cow) range from $70 to $320 per share. Prices vary each year from country to country.
While some Islamic organizations substitute canned and/or frozen meat for Udhiya, usually delivered after the Eid period. Life for Relief and Development, always strives to ensure that the sacrificial rites and distribution of fresh meat are conducted during the prescribed period of Eid Al-Adha, in accordance with the tradition of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
