Life Expands Orphans Program into Ghana . Orphanage and Community Centers Being Built in Sierra Leone Life has redoubled its commitment to the people of Sierra Leone through the adoption of a number of new projects in the country this year. Life Jordan: Field Trips for Orphans, Classes for Widows During the recent spring school recess, Life Jordan arranged a special field trips for many of their sponsored orphans in the cities of Zarqa and Irbid. Orphans in Baghdad Receive Food Aid 30 orphans and families received food baskets that included fresh lamb meat, beans, and other food items. Support Given to Orphans and Poor Families in Basra Life recently completed a project to help improve health and hygiene among orphans and poor families living in the southern Iraqi city of Basra. Life partnered with its sister organization in Iraq, the Al-Rafd Charity, to implement this project. Orphans Attend FIFA Championship Last December, Life organized a field trip for a group of orphans living in the United Arab Emirates under the supervision of the UAE Red Crescent Society. Udhiyah Meat Distributed to Orphans and the Disabled in Sierra Leone with the UAE-based Sharjah International, Life for Relief and Development successfully implemented its 2009 Udhiyah campaign in the West African country of Sierra Leone.
