LIFELink Newsletter LIFELink is an annual newsletter, which updates our supporters on our latest accomplishments in the field of humanitarian relief. These newsletters highlight projects launched in response to human suffering around the globe, and they give our donors and partners an up-close look at how our human and financial resources are put into action. 2010 Newsletter:     2009 Newsletter:     2008 Newsletter: The 2008 edition of LIFELink highlights our response to emergencies in Gaza and Bangladesh, the opening of a new healthcare clinic in Iraq, the digging of wells in Ethiopia, the expansion of our Orphan Sponsorship Program, and much more.     2006 Newsletter: The Spring 2006 Newsletter covers such stories as LIFE’s immediate response to the Pakistan earthquake and Hurricane Katrina. Also in this issue are articles on the progress of the Afghan and Sierra Leone school distributions, clinics in Palestine, toy distribution in Iraq, and Eid festivities.     2005 Newsletter: The Spring 2005 Newsletter covers a 16 page spread discussing LIFE’s relief and development in Iraq, building of clinics in Palestine, efforts in Sierra Leone, relief for flood victims in Pakistan, and the many Ramadan and Udhiyah distributions.  Articles also include updates on the orphan schools and education programs in Afghanistan, as well as the 2004 Eid celebrations.     2004 Newsletter: The Summer 2004 Newsletter includes articles on LIFE’s distribution of wheelchairs in Afghanistan as well as on the success of Hai Al-Jawadeen, one of the first Community Development Projects (CDP) LIFE established in Iraq. Also discussed is the expansion of LIFE into Palestine and amazing stories from the field.     2003 Summer Newsletter: The Summer 2003 Newsletter updates its readers on LIFE’s emergency response, as well as its progress regarding the water and sanitation and orphan sponsorship programs in Iraq. Also mentioned is LIFE’s advancement on the two orphanages sponsored in Laghman and Jalalabad, Afghanistan.     2003 Fall/Winter Newsletter: The Fall/Winter 2003 Newsletter focuses on the status of a post-war Iraq and Iraq’s continuing struggle for peace. The newsletter writes of the decade of post-war crisis that has impacted the health, educational, and economic growth of Iraq. Also included in the newsletter are articles regarding the orphans of Afghanistan and LIFE’s partnership with CARE International to supply water to the people of Palestine.
