Education in Syria Project

The education in Syria project helps Aleppo University located in the cities of Daraa and Aleppo. The project supports the University to extend education for the displaced Syrians. The program also subsidizes many informal elementary, middle and high schools across cities in Syria since formal schools are insecure.

In partnership with the University of Washington, Columbia University, Eastern Michigan University, University of California Berkeley and others a scholarship program under the initiative “Books not Bombs” was initiated.
