During Eid al-Adha, LIFE for relief and development establishes an Udhiyah/Qurbani program to support those in need. LIFE chooses the healthiest animals, ensuring families receive the best quality of meat. Animals are purchased within the countries of distribution to benefit local families. All meat is always fresh, delivered to homes right on the first day of Eid. This year LIFE implemented the Udhiyah project to reach the neediest people in Egypt. LIFE distributed 2 pounds of fresh meat in five cities in Egypt, Qena, Fayoum, Aswan, Luxor, and Cairo. The beneficiaries were extremely thankful to receive fresh meat to feed their families.
