Many of these women have young children that need cared for. Life’s family assistance program works to improve the living conditions of vulnerable single mothers and disabled heads of households, who have lost everything from the devastating impact of war and famine. Life has a growing list of families in need of assistance in countries such as Afghanistan, Gaza, Iraq, Jordan, the U.S. and the West Bank.
