Life Distributes Food Boxes and Hygiene Kits to the Needy in Bosnia

Life for Relief and Development has been working around the world during the holy month of Ramadan to provide those in need with food boxes and hygiene kits. Recently, Life distributed food baskets in Bosnia filled with the following: 3 liters of oil, 3 kg of sugar, a half kg coffee, 1 kg beans, 1 kg rice, 1 kg cereals, 2x pâtés, canned fish, 4 soup cans, 4 pudding packages, dates, salami, sausage, a jar of pickles, ayvar, peas, ketchup, cream, jam, salt, juice, cheese, 3 packs of yeast, 3 packs of macaroni, spaghetti, 1 kg of polenta, vegetable spice, sweet pepper, tomato sauce, tea, ground biscuits, chocolate, 3 liters of milk and flour. In addition to these food boxes, hygiene kits were also received, containing laundry detergent, dish detergent, a sponge, soap and shampoo.

The distribution happened in Sarajevo, Zenica, Busovaca, Bratunac, Vlasenica, Gorazde, Tuzla, Zivinice and the village of Ljeskovik. Families were beyond thankful for their food boxes and hygiene kits, and some even came to tears of joy for the food that their families received. A total of 450 people benefited from this distribution.
