Winter storm Norma struck the Middle East last week causing heavy snow and flooding in the region. According to UNHCR at least 70,000 refugees out of whom 39,900 children in Lebanon were put at risk from the harsh conditions.

 

Many families had to seek alternative shelter from extreme cold and flooding in the tent camps where they were living. Thousands of families are in urgent need of assistance.
