Following a request that was submitted by the director of the Ashty General Hospital, Dr. Karwan, for the need of medical supplies, Life for Relief and Development took initiative to fulfill the request. A shipment of medical supplies and equipment was sent from World Medical Relief in Southfield, Michigan to Iraq through the Mersin Port in Turkey. The shipment was cleared by the Life Iraq office and sent to the Ashty General Hospital on December 26th, 2019. The Ashty General Hospital is located in the Soran District in Erbil, Iraq.
Dr. Karwan thanked the Life team for its support and efforts towards humanitarian needs by responding to his request for medical supplies and equipment.
