EMERGENCY RELIEF FOR ROHINGYA REFUGEES

October 2017, Life’s emergency response team from the USA worked with Rohingya refugees in a camp in Ukiya Village in Cox’s Bazaar section Pan Katagong.

This camp houses 450,000 refugees. The camp is very crowded and lacks hygiene. The team established a medical clinic with a paramedic and nurse treating refugee children for diarrhea, vomiting and other diseases.

The team distributed hygiene kits for 2000 families that included antiseptic cream, antibacterial soap, shampoo, detergent, water buckets and mosquito nets.
