Ramadan, a month of peace and blessings for some, but not for all. Around the world, many Muslims go hungry way beyond the time to break fast, and are always hoping for a way to put food on the tables for their families.
Life for Relief and Development is aware of this struggle, and each year during the holy month, Life makes a conscious effort to provide Ramadan meals to those in need all over the globe. In areas of Mali such as Faladije and Bamako, many people have been displaced due to war, living in extreme poverty. Life provided 240 families with food, included widows and those injured from war. The happiness that these meals brought to their faces could light up a room!
