LIFE Provides Backpacks to Foster Youth in the United States

During this part of the year, Life for Relief and Development ensures students are ready to go back to school by making sure they’re equipped with the necessary supplies. This year in the United States, LIFE partnered with Together We Rise to supply 150 elementary and middle school students in foster care with backpacks filled with school supplies for the upcoming school year. 100 of those backpacks were sent to foster youth at Chosen Ones in Fort Worth, TX and 50 were sent to the Association House of Chicago in Chicago, IL. Back to School projects like these help students to be prepared to learn and be successful.
