In Gaza, nearly 80% of the population live below the poverty line, due to the blockade imposed on them, the lack of opportunities to work with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. This leaves many families unable to put food on their table for their loved ones. Life for Relief and Development took action by providing 660 families, 3,960 individuals with food boxes filled with rice, sugar, cheese and canned legumes. The distribution took place in the Central Governorate of Nuseirat, Zawaydeh, Deir Al-Balah, Al-Bureij and AlMaghazi Al-Zahra, the Gaza Governorate of Sahabah and Shejaiya and the Northern Governorate of Hanoun and Jabalia.
