Father's Day is a special day dedicated to us showing appreciation and gratitude for the incredible men who assume a fatherly role in our lives. While Mother’s Day tends to get the spotlight, we must not forget how valuable and impactful our fathers and father figures are. Anyone who grew up without one or has had the unfortunate experience of losing one can attest to this fact.
Our fathers and father figures are like that constant steady breeze of support, encouragement, kindness, protection, and most importantly, love.
The one who is always there for you.
The ones unafraid to say “no,” to correct us when we’re wrong, especially when our safety or future is at stake. They create a safe foundation so the rest of the family can grow and thrive.
The one who would break their back just so you could climb a little bit higher in life.
The good ones really are everyday leaders and heroes. They constantly sacrifice, putting their family first, getting up every day and showing up no matter how they feel because they know how many people depend on them.

A father is irreplaceable.
He is the homeland, the grounding force where you can set down your roots. He reminds you of where you come from, who you are and where you are going. An inner strength that calls you to be the best version of yourself.
As you grow together, your father becomes a trusted advisor and confidant. Someone whose sage advice is priceless.

That said, often Dads and father figures are the last to feel seen, heard, understood and cared for.
That’s why this Father’s Day we can give them a little more attention. Show them that for all they do and all that they are, we really do love and appreciate them.
Consider donating to a Life for Relief and Development USA (LIFE) project in honor of your father or father figure.
Choose from one of our meaningful initiatives that reflect the heart of fatherhood:
Family Assistance – Supports families who have lost their father figure and are struggling to stay afloat.
Orphan Sponsorship – Give a one-time or monthly gift to a child who has lost their father and would give anything for one more moment with him.
These thoughtful gifts not only show your dad how much he means to you, they also help lift up others in his honor.
