The Kalar school, located in Iraq and mostly made up of internally displaced persons (IDPs) from different providences, lacked the necessary resources for students to receive their education properly. Life for Relief and Development stepped in to fix the floors and doors of the school, as well as provide the school with furniture, chairs, fans, chalkboards, air vents, lights, garbage cans, a copy machine and a water fountain that supplies filtered water for a year. The Kalar School is mostly made up of IDPs from different providences of Iraq.
The students and teachers were incredibly happy to receive the help and donations from Life, so they can continue giving and receiving their education in an adequate environment.
