Life for Relief and Development shipped and distributed medical supplies to the Sanitary District of Salemata, a town consisting of over 5,000 people and to the Hospital of Kedougou. Before the shipment of supplies, their health center lacked everything needed to treat patients in need. Some patients would even pass away due to the lack of medical necessities needed to treat their conditions. Sharing a border with Guinea, the mayor of the town stated that people can now come from there to seek the medical treatment that they require.
The people of Salemata thanked Life for their kind donation, that served many people in their town.
